SolutionsScheduled checks
Know what’s due, and what was missed.
Set up the routine checks from HSG274 Table 2.1 for each site. Ecohydro creates the tasks, and a reading on the right outlet completes them, so a check is only ever as done as its evidence.

What you get
Templates from HSG274
Calorifier flow and return, sentinel outlets, representative outlets on rotation, summer tank temperatures, weekly flushing, descaling, inspections and TMV servicing.
Your risk assessment sets the pace
Change any interval, rotation or season, and record the reason. HSE says the risk assessment sets the frequency, so the templates are only a starting point.
Completed by readings, not ticks
Nobody ticks a check off by hand. A reading on its outlet completes it, and a failing reading still completes it while opening an exception.
Missed checks show up
A check past its deadline counts as missing data on the dashboard, and the person it is assigned to is told, then a manager.
“Couldn’t do it”, with a reason
No access, area closed, out of service or unsafe: engineers say why, and managers see it. The check stays open until it is done.
Rotations spread the load
Representative outlets are covered once per cycle, a few each month, rather than all at once.
Setting up a check
- 1
Pick a template
Or write your own check with any interval.
- 2
Choose the outlets
Add the monitoring points or assets it covers, and who it is assigned to.
- 3
It appears in My work
Each engineer sees what is due and overdue, nearest deadline first.
See it with your own buildings.
Send us an outlet list and we’ll show you your sites in Ecohydro, with their checks set up.
